Scott says when he lost his wife, he lost everything.
Roseann Welsh was murdered in her own Clay County home Dec. 1, 2014.
The two were together 15 years, sharing two children.
"I would just sit there and look at her smile. That’s the only thing I would want to see again is her smile." Scott said, remembering the time the two spent together. He says his world is forever changed.
Scott says his wife’s killer was a man he knew, Donald Davidson, a friend since he was 14.
At the time of the murder, Davidson had been out on conditional release, with previous convictions of molestation and aggravated battery on a pregnant woman.

"This man had ample opportunity and chances to prove himself worthy of his life and he has not." Scott said.
Davidson pleaded guilty to Roseann's murder. Now Scott and his family await a judge's decision to sentence Davidson to life in prison or the death penalty.
“He had no right to do that, and he deserves to die.” Scott said.
