CLAY COUNTY, Fla. — A man is under arrest after he grabbed a woman who was jogging and pulled her into the woods in Middleburg on Tuesday morning, Clay County Sheriff Michelle Cook said.
Cook said that Jason Thomas tried to remove the woman’s clothes, but she was able to get away and call 911.

Thomas ran from deputies, Cook said, but he was later captured.
He faces charges that include kidnapping, attempted sexual battery, and burglary.

Cook is asking anyone with more information or potential surveillance video to reach out to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
