Code Yellow: Glynn Co. Public Schools mandates masks over rising cases of COVID-19

Officials said a daily review of cases revealed the district’s percent positive is currently over 1%.

GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. — Glynn County Public Schools announced Tuesday that rising cases of COVID-19 among students and staff have pushed the district into “Code Yellow”.

Beginning Wednesday, August 18, the district says students and adults will be required to wear masks inside schools; they were already required on buses.

GCPS said precautions and safety measures will be in place until at least August 27.
