Conjoined twins complete belly closure operation after separation surgery

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The conjoined twin's bellies are officially closed up, after a separation surgery last weekend.

According to the Prayers for Carter & Conner Facebook Page, the Mirabal twins were separated in a long surgery that involved nearly 17 health care professionals.

The team separated the boys’ liver, common bile ducts and small intestines.

Their abdomens were temporarily closed with a piece of plastic.

The plastic was removed once their skin became stretched enough to close without hurting their organs.

We have our own bellies now!!

Carter has this little thing going on with his eys that totally freaks mommy out! His nurse says that it can be corrected  with lenses but it also could go away on its own. She said its because he has weak muscles in his eyes and being that he never had this problem before, it may just be because of all the anesthesia he's been under and him being sedated or and all the pain meds could just be causing the muscles to be lazy pretty much.
