Jacksonville, Fl — The week is starting off cloudy and cool with temperatures reaching the average of 69 degrees. Onshore winds will keep things feeling cool.
Action News Jax Meteorologist Trevor Gibbs is tracking overnight lows in the mid-50s. We will see a few breaks in the clouds early Tuesday. However, we should turn mostly cloudy with an enhancement of the onshore wind tomorrow. Highs will still only be in the upper 60s in Jacksonville and lower 70s well inland.

Warmer air returns on Wednesday and Thursday ahead of a cold front that will pass Thursday afternoon. Wednesday looks to be the warmest day of the week, in the upper 70s.
Thursday will be in the mid-70s with showers and storms arriving. Then, much cooler air will move in by Friday morning. Temperatures will only be in the mid-60s but mostly sunny.
Much colder air fills in for the upcoming weekend with morning lows in the 30s and low 40s, and afternoon highs only in the the 50s.
