COVID-19 Breakdown for August 10

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Florida is reporting 536,961 positive cases of COVID-19. Florida reported 4,155 new cases in today’s report. Florida also reported 91 new deaths.

Locally, northeast Florida added 389 cases.

Duval County reported 271 cases and 1 new death, a 70-year-old woman. This brings Duval County’s death toll to 189 cases. The average daily positive testing rate for the past two weeks is at 7.26 percent.

St. Johns County reported 42 new cases and two new deaths, ages 90 and 97. The average daily positive testing rate for the past two weeks is at 6.8 percent.

Baker County reported 25 new cases. The average daily positive testing rate for the past two weeks is at 22.95 percent. The daily testing positive rate yesterday was at 33.8 percent.

Clay County is reporting 37 new cases. The average daily positive testing rate for the past two weeks is at 9.08 percent.

Nassau County is reporting 14 new cases. The average daily positive testing rate for the past two weeks is at 7.43 percent.
