JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Florida is reporting 441,977 positive cases of COVID-19. Today’s report shows Florida added 9,230 cases.
Locally, northeast Florida added 270 cases.
Duval County is reporting 137 new cases and 596 new hospitalizations. There are now 20,138 reported cases and 146 deaths in Duval County since March.
St. Johns County is reporting 3,057 cases since the beginning of March. The county reported 64 new cases and two new hospitalizations.
Clay County added 38 new cases, Nassau County added 19 new cases, and Baker County added 12 new cases.
The death toll in Florida also increased by 186, the highest single-day death toll. Duval County reported 3 new deaths and St. Johns County is reporting one new death.
