Crash involving multiple semi trucks shut down I-10 for hours in Macclenny

A semitruck crash at mile marker 338 on Interstate 10 closed the roadway for nearly four hours on Thursday. 

One person was injured but is expected to live, the Florida Highway Patrol said. 

The crash happened shortly before 8 a.m. 

All lanes were finally opened shortly before noon. 

Traffic was rerouted to U.S. 301 and Normandy Blvd. 

11:41 a.m. UPDATE: All lanes have reopened following a semi-truck crash that shut down I-10 in both directions near mile marker 338 for hours.

According to Dylan Bryan of Florida Highway Patrol, one person was airlifted to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Florida Department of Transportation says the crash involves three tractor trailers.

There is a crash with injuries on I-10 eastbound at mile marker 338, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Authorities said all lanes eastbound and westbound are closed at this time.

A life flight helicopter has been requested, FDOT said.
