JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Berkman II demolition is planned for this Sunday, March 6 at 10 a.m.
The Berkman II, which is now situated in the 500 block of East Bay Street, will be imploded and the streets around the building will begin closing at 7 a.m.
That area, called the “exclusion zone,” includes private property, city right of ways and navigable waterways.

The closures will continue until the area has been rendered safe and all debris from the implosion has been cleaned.
