Jacksonville, Fla. — DCPS said hybrid students, who spend two days in the classroom and three online, are not guaranteed a laptop.
Only students enrolled in Duval homeroom are guaranteed a laptop.
The district gave out about 43,000 laptops last Spring... many students kept them over the summer for use this year.
Parents who now realize their Duval Homeroom student needs one must fill out the Laptop/Hotspot form acknowledging that the laptop will be returned in good condition at the end of the school year.
About 50,000 laptops were ordered in August and could arrive in the next few months. DCPS said that will be for all middle and high school students.
