Hendricks Avenue Elementary in San Marco is currently under a lockdown as a precaution because of police activity.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office confirms they are in the area looking for a suspect.

School officials say students walking to school are being permitted into the school and are being routed to a safe area while on lockdown.
