Hogan says he, as well as his staff,  have already met on site with the City’s EOC office and testing officials at the two sites; Legends and Oceanway Community Centers, to coordinate the access for the voters and those citizens who are visiting the site to be tested.

Duval County Supervisor of Elections told Action News Jax:

  • They will be keeping voters and  Poll Workers safe by following CDC protocols just like we did during March election.
  • All workers will be pre-screened on election day - have their temperature taken and asked a series of questions to make sure they are fine and ready for work.
  • The Supervisor of Elections has hired an extra worker for every precinct and Early Voting site whose job will be to sanitize and clean all contact surfaces including the booths.
  • There are currently 4 sites that are being used for COVID-19 testing and for voting:
    • Legends Center
    • Mandarin Senior Center
    • Leroy Clemons Senior Center
    • Oceanway Community Center
