JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man accused of robbing a Payday loan and cash advance business on Tuesday morning.
An officer was called out to the Ace Cash America on San Jose Boulevard just before 10 a.m. about a robbery in progress.
A woman told police a guy walked into the business while she was in the back.
The man walked back outside and then came back into the business and slid a note to her which demanded money, according to the JSO incident report.

The report states the man began rushing the woman and kept looking down at either a red watch or timer. She told him the safe will take 13 minutes to open and walked into the back of the business, attempting to keep the man on scene.
JSO said the man became aggravated and told her, “Hurry up or I will kill you,” and kept yelling her last name.
Police issued a BOLO with the information she provided and a detective has taken over the investigation.
Authorities said both the business and the others nearby did not have any cameras.
According to the JSO report, the suspect is described as a white man with blue eyes. He is between the ages of 25 and 30. He may be 5′07″ to 5′08″ and weighs 150 to 160 pounds.
Police said he was wearing black or dark gray clothing, a black beanie hat and had a black backpack.
