JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Action News Jax Ryan Nelson spoke to crabbers on the St. Johns River Friday who were out searching for missing boater, Michael Vaughn III.
Action News Jax first told you Thursday when Vaughn’s 30-foot commercial fishing boat was found empty and running in circles, just south of the Buckman Bridge shortly before 8 a.m. Thursday.
Multiple agencies, including the U.S. Coast Guard, the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and dive unit, Florida Fish & Wildlife, U.S. Customs & Border Protection assisted in the search.
