Jacksonville police find woman and man after reports of possible kidnapping

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — June 22, 4:45 p.m. Update:

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has located both Miller and Stripling.

This investigation is still ongoing at this time.

ORIGINAL STORY:

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is working to determine the safety of a woman and man after what witnesses describe as a possible kidnapping in Arlington.

Early Tuesday morning, police responded to the 300 block of Caravan Circle, which is near Atlantic and Southside boulevards.

Officers were told that a woman could be heard screaming and struggling with a man and it appeared she was being forced into a small white sedan, which then drove away.

Police said the woman has been identified as 22-year-old Elizabeth Jorena Miller and officers have not been able to locate her.

JSO is also looking for 27-year-old Josh’uan Rudolph Stripling, who may have information that could assist in locating Miller.

Officers want to locate both Miller and Stripling to ascertain their safety.
