JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A bicyclist has serious injuries but is expected to be OK following a crash involving an officer of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday.
The crash happened at 10 p.m. in the 5600 block of Trout River Boulevard. Police said the officer was driving eastbound on a routine patrol when the crash happened.
It is not clear who was at fault in the crash. JSO 's Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating. The officer was not injured.
