JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Jacksonville woman shares her personal connection with John Lewis.
Annie Singh says she went to high school with Lewis in Brundidge, Alabama.
“He treated everybody the same. John was a wonderful person,” Singh said.
She says as a young woman, she could see Lewis was a leader. Singh says even as a young man, Lewis was a voice for society’s victims.
