JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE 10:45 A.M.:
JSO is searching for the suspect involved in an hours-long SWAT callout early Sunday morning.
JSO responded to the incident just after 11:30 p.m. Saturday, but said their efforts to contact the suspect were “fruitless” so they asked SWAT to respond.
Officials were on scene for over eight hours before they made entry into the home.
When they entered the home, they discovered the suspect was not there.
JSO then put out a warrant for the suspect, Calvin Galloway, 34.
Galloway is wanted for aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
According to Duval County court records, Galloway was arrested in May of 2019 for felony battery causing great bodily harm.
That arrest report stated the altercation was between Galloway and his girlfriend at the time.
Court records also revealed that Galloway has had two domestic violence injunctions against him since May of 2019.
The two women that filed injunctions against Galloway reside at the same Century Point Drive address.
If you have any information on Galloway’s location, call JSO at 904-630-0500 or 866-845-TIPS.
