JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says that a man in his 20s was shot multiple times in a car at the Evergreen Club apartments in Baymeadows Sunday night.
JSO says that the 911 call came from the man’s girlfriend who found him shot in the car.
When police got to the scene they found the man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Residents at the scene told JSO that they heard at least two gunshots but did not call police.
JSO is asking if anyone witnessed the shooting to call them at 904-630-0500.
