JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol confirmed a 55-year-old man is dead following a crash on I-10, west of Lane Avenue Monday.
According to FHP, the man was traveling westbound in a garbage-truck when the truck struck the guardrail near the left lane and overturned.
While overturned, the truck struck a pole in the median, FHP says. The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department responded to the crash and confirmed fuel was leaking from the truck.

The man has not been identified. FHP says he is from Ponte Vedra Beach.
