As millions of Americans get ready for Amazon Prime Day this week, one Jacksonville business is hoping to incentivize neighbors to shop locally instead

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Native Sun Natural Food Market in Jacksonville Beach is spearheading a campaign on Tuesday and Wednesday this week to #ShopJax.

All local products will be 20% off on those days in hopes of drawing in more people to businesses operating right here in Jacksonville.

When the pandemic began, Native Sun shifted its operations to a solely grocery and grab-n-go business. Its restaurant side of the business took a halt, as did so many other restaurants in the area.


To help local businesses at risk of closing their doors for good, Native Sun is partnering with those shops to give them another avenue to sell their products.
