JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating a potential arson case at an Eastside business.

Police said they received a call around 8 a.m. Friday from the owner of the trucking business in the 1900 block of Phoenix Avenue.

He said he found liquid and broken glass inside.

Multiple local, state and federal agencies are assisting in the investigation. There is no suspect information at this time.

After investigating, JSO believes someone threw a device into the business with intentions it would start a fire.
