Man shot in chest following domestic dispute in Arlington, Jacksonville police say

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — At least one person is hurt following a shooting in Arlington on Monday morning.

During a news conference, a spokesperson for the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said just before 9:30 a.m., officers were called to Brookwood Forest Boulevard off Monument Road for a domestic dispute.

When police arrived, they found a man who had been shot in the chest. He was taken to a local hospital and is expected to be OK.

The sheriff’s office said there aren’t any outstanding suspects.

The JSO violent crimes unit is currently investigating the incident.
