JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Updated 10:00 p.m. ET

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office now has a suspect in connection to Mondays armed bank robbery at Regions Bank on Southside Blvd.

Investigators describe the suspect as a white male, 5′5″, and approximately 130 pounds. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black and gray sweatshirt with red lettering, black sunglasses, a black hat, gray gloves, and a white N95 mask.

The suspect approached the teller, demanded money, and threatened the teller with an unknown weapon, according to police.

Officers with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office are searching for a person they say robbed a bank on Southside Boulevard Monday morning.

Police say at 9:08 a.m., the person walked into Regions Bank, indicated they had a weapon and walked out of the bank with cash. The amount of money taken is unknown.

JSO said five employees and one customer were inside the bank during the incident. No one was hurt.

Police said they don’t know the race or gender of the person and don’t know if the person left in a vehicle.

The person was wearing a black and gray hoodie with red lettering, along with gray gloves and a white N95 mask, JSO said.
