Testing at local churches back on after being postponed abruptly

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — COVID-19 testing will be up and running at Baptist Bethel Church, after being abruptly postponed two weeks ago.

Action News Jax first told you last week when tests that were supposed to be offered by three local churches this weekend were postponed by the state.

”The postponement occurred when we were given the three Federal sites by the Federal government and manpower had to be shifted,” A spokesperson for the federal sites told Action News Jax.

COVID-19 testing will be offered drive-thru style at Baptist Bethel Church (215 Bethel Baptist St.) Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM and Sunday 1 PM to 4 PM.
