Duval County, FL. — As Tropical Storm Isaias inches closer off the coast, waves are picking up, and surfers are taking advantage.
But the red flag is up, indicating strong rip currents and high surf.
Carey Pafford, who lives in Neptune Beach, stated, “We already had supplies for the COVID thing, so we were not worried about it. People we spoke with say they have so much supplies prepping for COVID -19. They did minimal hurricane shopping”.
Christopher Moorman, another beachgoer stated, “It’s 2020. Its another thing that’s going to say, ‘Hey, Florida. What’s going on?‘”.
