JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating a murder in Baymeadows.
According to police a man returned home from work to find blood all over his apartment.

The man attempted to reach his girlfriend and roommate and could not get a hold of them, according to police.
JSO said officers found a young woman’s body inside the apartment. Police are unable to identify the body at this time because of the injuries sustained in what appeared to be a struggle.
JSO said the man is cooperating with police and is not a suspect.
Police said the man’s roommate was found in downtown Jacksonville and is speaking with police. He is the only person of interest in the case at this time.
