JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The big matchup between the Florida Gators and the Georgia Bulldogs is finally here.

The Florida-Georgia game is one of the most celebrated rivalries in college football and the party starts in RV City.

On Friday Randy Stone was frying up some bacon extra crispy.

“I’m the first one up, let everybody rest and I’ll have it done when they get up,” Stone said.

Stone, a bulldog fan is getting ready for the big game on Saturday.

He’s been coming to RV City for 16 years, but last year the pandemic put a pause on this massive tailgate.

“Oh man, everybody was devastated, they wanted to be here. Had to stay and watch it at home,” Stone said.

This year there are also fewer people in RV City because of all the construction from the hart bridge.

Normally there are more than 100 RVs parked out here. Now it’s around 50.

“It’s not the same as it used to be, but we’re looking forward to a good game,” Ken Helms, a gator fan said.

And of course, with fans returning to the TIAA Bank Field there are some big game day predictions for tomorrow.

“Well obviously Georgia is the better team, but do I think we have a chance. Absolutely, no mistakes and we can do it. Go Gators!

The Florida-Georgia Game kicks off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Gates at TIAA Bank Field open at 1:30 p.m.
