JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Kalil McCoy's family walked out of the Duval County Courthouse frustrated. A hearing to reschedule a retrial for Fredrick Wade was supposed to start Thursday morning. But that didn't happen.
"The prison didn't bring Frederick Wade, he hasn't arrived yet. He's supposed be coming this afternoon," said Lynette Roebuck, Kalil McCoy's mother.
Fredrick Wade is accused of killing Kalil McCoy in 2011, but recently his second-degree murder conviction was overturned because of faulty jury instructions.

Now Kalil McCoy's family has to go through another trial all over again.
"I still haven't really processed it. It's like a nightmare and I have to do this all over again," said Roebuck.
Kalil McCoy's twin brother, Adil McCoy, said he's hopeful the hearings will go smoothly.
"We're just ready to get it over with. The quicker we can get it started the better," said Adil McCoy.
The next hearing will be March 3 at 9 am.
The family says even though this process is difficult, they're comforted by keeping McCoy's memory alive.
