JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The family of a toddler who drowned in a septic tank at a Jacksonville park in October 2017 has reached a settlement in a lawsuit against a contractor.
Amari Harley was 3 years old when his body was found in a septic tank at Bruce Park.
Kay Harper Williams, the attorney for Amari's family attorney, said a lawsuit against city is forthcoming.

“We have resolved the initial lawsuit filed in this case and we will proceed with filing a separate lawsuit against the City of Jacksonville in the preventable death of Amari Harley."
Amari would have turned 5 years old on Wednesday.
