An Orange Park man has died after being hit by a SUV Thursday night, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the collision happened at 9:52 p.m. on Blanding Boulevard at Belmont Boulevard.
A gray 2018 Toyota Highlander traveling northbound collided with a man in a wheelchair crossing Blanding Boulevard.
The man was not in a crosswalk, FHP said.
The 57-year-old man was taken to Orange Park Medical Center where he died of his injuries. His name has not been released at this time.
The driver of the SUV was not injured.
