UNION COUNTY, Fla. — A pickup truck struck the rear of a school bus that was carrying 18 people Saturday morning at a Union County intersection, but no one was hurt, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened at 6:39 a.m. at State Road 100 and State Road 121, according to a FHP news release.
Troopers said the school bus was stopped in the eastbound lane of State Road 100 at the intersection with State Road 121. A truck, also traveling east, approached the intersection and failed to see the stopped bus before the front of the truck hit the bus’s rear.
