Jacksonville, Fl — For the first time in December we’re going to have measurable rainfall, as a cold front will push into the area by later afternoon and evening. Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says the afternoon rush home could be slow and slick.
Temperatures today will be warm in the upper 70s. The actual front won’t pass Duval County until about 7 and 8 pm.

But then we warm up again on Friday with temperatures climbing to near 80 degrees. Saturday is even warmer with temperatures near record levels, in the low 80s.
Skies clear out nicely on Thursday with partly sunny conditions and temperatures in the lower 70s.
Then another strong front arrives Saturday night into Sunday morning. It’ll bring some morning showers but then much cooler air for the start of the new work week. Morning lows could fall into upper 40s early Monday and Tuesday.
