NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. — The Nassau County Fire Rescue Department responded to a mobile home fire in Callahan early Wednesday morning.
Firefighters arrived to find heavy fire and smoke showing from a home near the intersection of Old Dixie Highway and Quail Road, which is near South Kings Road.
An unidentified person was found dead inside the home, according to the Nassau County Sheriff's Office.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the State Fire Marshal is also responding to the fire.
