JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — This morning is dry and warm with temperatures in the upper 70s.
- Skies are partly cloudy this morning, but there should be enough clearing to view a SpaceX launch planned for ~5:33 AM today from Cape Canaveral.
- Today will be a seasonally hot day with highs in the low 90s.
- Scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms are expected. Hazards will be heavy rain, frequent lightning strikes, and strong wind gusts.
- Wednesday afternoon will feature more rain and storms.
- Localized flooding will be possible over the next few days if heavy rain repeatedly falls over low-lying/poor drainage areas.
- Temperatures through the weekend will be near the late August averages with a daily chance for some afternoon storms.

- One (Invest 95L) is passing well east of Bermuda today and will not impact land.
- Invest96L is a tropical wave that emerged off the west coast of Africa yesterday. This wave has a high chance of development as it moves west over the Atlantic. Plenty of time to watch.
