JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Here’s what the First Alert Weather Team said you can expect for the forecast:
- Bands of brief but heavy showers will move west off the ocean through this evening before diminishing after midnight, with lows in the 70s.
- Drier air will arrive Wednesday & continue through Friday, so temps will at least feel a little more comfortable despite highs well into the 80s each day. Only an isolated shower each day & most places will have several dry days in a row.
- Higher humidity will return for the weekend with a few showers & storms developing each day again.

- Low pressure may form over the Central Atlantic this week – likely to stay out to sea. Next name: “Fay”. We continue to build on the record for the satellite era- since 1966 - of the deepest into the Atlantic hurricane season *without* a hurricane (was Sept. 11).
