JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Here’s what the First Alert Weather Team said you can expect for the forecast:
- A few evening showers & storms mainly inland; otherwise partly cloudy, warm & humid tonight.
- Friday through the weekend will be hot & humid with highs of 90-95. Scattered storms will develop each afternoon with locally heavy rain while moving slowly east/northeast, but at least dropping temps. into the 70s & 80s for a time for some neighborhoods.
- The Jags home opener Sunday afternoon will be hot, with temps in the low 90s along with a threat for a shower or storm through the game. Even hotter temps. in the stadium & on the field.
