JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Here’s what the First Alert Weather Team said you can expect in the forecast:
- A few showers this evening; otherwise, partly cloudy & muggy overnight with lows in the 70s to around 80.
- High heat & humidity return Thursday through Friday into the weekend. Scattered to numerous afternoon & early evening heavy showers & storms will develop each day, with the potential for locally very heavy rainfall at times. Highs will top out at 90-95 but drop abruptly in & around storms.
- The Jags home opener Sunday afternoon will be hot, with temps in the low 90s along with a threat for a shower or storm through the game.
