JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Here’s what the First Alert Weather Team said you can expect for the forecast:
- Isolated storms through early tonight with lows in the 70s. A few storms may move into SE Georgia late this evening, producing heavy rain & gusty winds.
- Hot, partly sunny days will continue the rest of the week into the weekend with mostly isolated afternoon storms, so storm coverage will be mostly low. An exception may be for SE Ga., where proximity to a stalled front may allow for a little better storm coverage at times. Highs will be in the 90s with feel-like temps. 103-108.

Tropics:
- 3 areas to track: (1) Wave won’t develop upon approach to the Caribbean due to strong wind shear… (2) stronger wave over the Eastern Atlantic does have the potential to develop – approaching the NE Caribbean by early next week where conditions continue to look marginal at best, so the system should struggle in the longer range…. (3) A disturbance over the Central Pacific may become a tropical storm or even a hurricane upon approach to Hawaii this weekend.
