JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Here’s what the First Alert Weather Team said you can expect for the forecast:
- Scattered storms into early this evening will move from west to east with heavy rain, gusty winds & lots of lightning for some areas before moving offshore a little either way of sunset.
- Afternoon storms will develop Tuesday again, preceded by sun & highs in the 90s.
- Storms will become more widely scattered later Wed. & especially Thu. through Saturday.
- The Jags game Fri. evening will be partly cloudy with temps. in the 80s preceded by a few afternoon storms.

Tropics:
- Tracking: (1) A non-tropical low pressure area over the Central Atlantic east of Bermuda with some potential for development but will move over the N. Atlantic far from any land areas… (2) a tropical wave coming off of Africa has the potential to slowly develop but should eventually turn northward well east of the U.S…. *as it stand now*.
