JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Here’s what the First Alert Weather Team said you can expect in the forecast:

  • A clear sky & nice temps. falling to 60-65 tonight.
  • Sun through Friday with highs in the mid to upper 80s.  Higher humidity by Friday will trigger a few showers over mainly southern parts of the area south of Jacksonville.
  • A strong cold front will move across the area Friday night, ushering in brisk winds off the Atlantic over the weekend, so Saturday-Sunday will be windy, partly cloudy & a few brief showers mainly closer to the coast.
  • Breezy early next week… with a few shower bands moving off the ocean.  Highs over the weekend into early next week will be in the 70s to around 80 with a very high rip current risk at area beaches.
