JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Here’s what the First Alert Weather Team said you can expect for the forecast:
- Storms press toward I-95 & the beaches Friday evening
- Rain & a few storms will linger through sunset well north & south of Jax
- This weekend will be hot, with temps in the mid-90s each day
- Rain & storms will be more numerous on Saturday, late afternoon & evening
- Sunday will see less storms than Saturday, but there will still be some rain
- The Jags game will be very hot inside EverBank Stadium
- The start of the game will be dry
- Heads up for a storm or two nearby during halftime & the second half
- A few storms continue Monday
- Onshore winds build in mid-week, roughing up the beaches
- Temps go down slightly with the onshore wind
- We’ll see a few showers each day but the overall trend is drier
