WATCH LIVE: Meteorologist Garrett Bedenbaugh is tracking when and where storms will develop on FOX30
The First Alert Weather team is tracking a mild and muggy morning Tuesday with temperatures in the 70s. The morning commute will be dry. However, showers and storms will develop early to mid afternoon today. These storms will produce locally heavy rainfall, frequent lightning, and the potential for gusty winds. Showers and storms will linger into the evening commute. More afternoon storms will develop through the end of the week. Highs will be in the upper 80s to lower 90s.
TROPICS: We are tracking a broad area of low pressure in the Caribbean right now that is moving to the west. Conditions become a bit more favorable for some development over the next few days as it moves to the Western Caribbean Sea. We are also tracking an elongated area of low pressure in the Eastern Atlantic that has the potential to become a tropical depression or storm over the next day or two.
