JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — It’s a quiet start after rain and storms yesterday evening.
- The morning commute will be humid & dry
- A few storms develop this afternoon & evening
- Rain will push toward I-95 and the beaches, fading away before sunset
- The pattern looks identical tomorrow
- Friday Night Football & the Jags will see a shower or two leading up to kickoff
- Winds turn onshore starting Saturday evening into Sunday
- The Atlantic sea breeze will push inland each day into next week
- The heaviest rain will be farther inland each afternoon
- We can’t rule out a shower at the coast each morning
- Temps will be a tad cooler due to the onshore wind too, especially at the beaches

- There’s one area to watch in the East/Central Atlantic
- This tropical wave is headed westbound toward the Caribbean
- Long-range forecasts weaken this wave as it approaches the Caribbean
- We’re tracking but there appears to be no imminent threat (still) for the U.S.
- The next named storm is 9-5 “Dolly”
