First Coast Honor Flight taking Jacksonville veterans to Washington, D.C.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville-based non-profit First Coast Honor Flight is launching its first flight of 2022 from Jacksonville on Saturday, May 21.

Volunteers with First Coast Honor Flight, Jacksonville will be escorting local veterans to Washington, D.C. on a day trip to view the memorials that were built to honor them and their sacrifice.

FCHF strives to create a “once in a lifetime” day filled with respect and camaraderie as these veterans tour the city and watch the changing of the guard.

In addition, this flight is honored to include three World War II veterans.
