Jacksonville FL — On Thursday the Florida Supreme Court rejected the latest push to put a constitutional amendment on the ballot to make recreational marijuana legal in the state.
The sponsors of the push were looking to regulate the pot industry similar to how alcohol is regulated. The ruling was 5 to 2 and the majority said the wording of the amendment was misleading. This is the second ballot initiative the state’s high court threw out in recent months, the other was in April.
