Fla. Gov. Scott visits Sweet Pete's Candy Shop

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — “Sweet Pete’s is a great addition to the Jacksonville community. It is exciting to highlight their growth in Florida and across the nation with 75 new jobs just this year. We want small businesses like Sweet Pete’s, who would directly benefit from our proposal to eliminate the income tax on manufacturers and retailers as well as the commercial lease tax cut, to keep expanding throughout our state,” Scott said.

Sweet Pete's opened its downtown location in 2014 in the historic Seminole club building that was built in 1903. Sweet Pete’s sells more than 1,000 different types of candies and boasts a fully-functional factory.
