Florida woman arrested, accused of urinating in ice cream machine

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A St. Petersburg, Florida woman was arrested Monday for allegedly sticking her finger in her nose and then into some ice cream, and also peeing in a bowl used for ice cream making, the Miami Herald reported.

The incident took place at LuLu's Ice Cream in Pinellas. Police arrested Jung Wypcha, 66, after reviewing videos of her behavior during three days in June, the Tampa Bay Times said.

On June 18, she attempted to open an ice cream freezer and failed.

On June 17, Wypcha was reportedly seen using a restroom with the door wide open on five separate occasions and did not wash her hands, deputies of the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said.

Wypcha then allegedly went to the freezer where the ice cream was located and put her hands into the ice cream containers.

The third day, June 22, the woman was allegedly seen going to the restroom. Once she realized the door was locked, she allegedly urinated in a bucket used to churn ice cream.

Wypcha is facing charges of criminal mischief and tampering.

The ice cream shop was closed for four to five days and the ice cream was destroyed for public safety.
