Former UF football player from Jacksonville accused of attempted sexual battery

A former University of Florida football player from Jacksonville was arrested Thursday for attempted sexual battery and false imprisonment.

Daniel McMillan, 23, is accused of exposing himself to a woman while he was at her apartment for a business transaction.

Police said McMillan, also spelled McMillian, went into the woman's room and locked the door behind them.

He stood in front of the door, blocking her exit, and pulled down his pants, according to the arrest report.

The woman told McMillan she was uncomfortable and asked him to let her leave but he continued to block her exit, she told police.

He told her "It's OK baby, it's OK," and grabbed her buttocks, the report said.

He grabbed her skirt when she tried to get away. She kicked him in the genitals and ran out of the apartment to get help, the report said.

She called police and positively identified McMillan from a photograph.

He was arrested Thursday and charged with attempted sexual battery and false imprisonment.
