Former Wells Fargo teller pleads guilty to fraud

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A woman pleaded guilty to three counts of bank fraud in federal court Thursday.

Patricia Margaret Drake, 24, faces up to 90 years in prison.

A grand jury indicted Drake in May.

Drake was the teller on those transactions, according to prosecutors.   She told investigators she didn't think the victim would notice the transactions due to his large account balance.

A customer at Wells Fargo noticed a series of unauthorized withdrawals from his account.

A sentencing date has not been set.
